Notes: From the cattleguard to the end of pavement this route travels through private property. Please respect property owners' wishes and remain on the road. This profile shows the main East Tennessee Road from Hwy 24 to the Forest Service gate at the Ski Cooper boundary. More difficult side trips to Jennie June Mine or further up the East Tennessee drainage are possible.
Getting There: From the traffic light at 6th Street, travel north on Hwy 24 thru Leadville. At the intersection of Hwy 24 & 91, take a left onto Hwy 24 and travel northwest for 3.5 miles. Take a right (NE) onto the East Tennessee Road (Lake Country Road 18) just before crossing railroad overpass.
